According to the survey, every year Portugal Mobile Number List the number of cases in court relating to the health sector increases, exceeding 2.5 million cases between 2015 and 2020. The shortage of medicines and the lack of specialists are some of the factors that have motivated by judicialization.
Based on data from Justice in Numbers, the National Database of the Judiciary (DataJud), the Ministry of Health and questionnaires answered by magistrates, courts and state and municipal health secretaries, the survey measures the available health care network in the country, as well as the judicialization of the sector. Survey data can also be viewed on the interactive dashboard.
Carried out by the CNJ's Department of Judicial Research, at the request of the National Health Forum, the study aimed to present information on the challenges of meeting health demands by the population who end up turning to the courts. The information will support the construction of the National Plan for the Judiciary, which must be consolidated by the Forum.
Seminars
The seminars started on May 6th and take place every two weeks, on Thursdays, always with new topics. The events promote the discussion of research focused on the Judiciary and the exchange of experiences between public servants, researchers, students and people interested in the production of empirical research and data generation methodologies.
The idea is to promote a space for debates and reflections on research focused on judicial policies. With information from the CNJ advisory.
