From Refugio de Comapedrosa to Pico de Comapedrosa. First part of the route: From Arinsal to Refugio de Comapedrosa This first stage of the route is moderate in difficulty and can last up to 2 hours , depending on the pace of the participants. The effort can take its toll, especially due to the slope at the end of the path . The route begins on the Comallempla road and continues along the park circuit and the Pla de l'Estany track. From there, take the path that leads directly to the Comapedrosa refuge.
What can we see during this tour? Nature in its purest form and with great diversity, where three rivers cross to form a spectacular waterfall that ends up forming the Comapedrosa River . Also noteworthy is a forest formed by the numerous avalanches that occur in this valley in winter. This area is known as the BeƧ Pusbescent Bedollar . The refuge, located at 2,266 meters above sea level, is ideal for recovering strength . It offers room services and a good gastronomic offer with typical mountain cuisine. Very close is the Estany de les Truites , where it is possible to fish. What you need to know about the Comapedrosa Refuge Kitchen and room service is only offered from June to September. Outside this period there is always a free use area with 6 places open. The shelter has capacity for 72 people with three rooms of various sizes distributed over two floors.
